That’s not how it’s supposed to work. Becoming a Christian is really easy. Behaving like a Christian is really not easy. How do we change that? We know we’re forgiven by God’s grace – a free gift. You’re a child of God now. So how do we connect who we are with what we do?
Community: You need Christian people in your life, and they need you in theirs. Young people, old people; we need each other. As Christians, we grow best in a community. People encouraging us, helping us, telling us when we’re really messing it up. There are a lot of awesome communities of Christian people. People who get it. People who can help you grow and want your help in their growth. We would love for you to come check out our community.
Devotion: You need to spend time with your Heavenly Father – not to earn His favor – but because you truly want to line up your life with His will. How do we spend time with God? Two classic ways are to pray and read your Bible. Here’s a serious question . . . When you pray, you are communicating with the Living God; do you really think you can do that without it changing you deep down inside? To pray is to change.
